The Canadian Training & Capabilities team is looking for a full-time Country Training Manager (CTM) primarily supporting the body contouring business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of all core training programs for the Allergan Sales Team (Body Contouring and PSRM) and reports to the Associate Director of Training & Capabilities Canada. As the CTM you will be responsible for developing core competencies within the sales force through a strategic training plan and monitor annual objectives that will satisfy short and long range goals of the body contouring business in an increasingly complex and competitive environment. The CTM will manage requirements for product knowledge and selling skills and act as the key interface for the execution of strategic sales, international and marketing objectives by the Sales Team. Manages and conducts all aspects of training and development for the body contouring team. These include learning needs assessment, new hire training, POA execution training, as well as support the implementation of cross-team training events such as: annual Account Management review, Amplify (Knowledge testing, ICE), WOKR (World of knowledge) event and other training programs as identified by the learning needs assessment. The successful incumbent will provide advanced training and development during Regional and National Sales Meetings, including the National Business meeting in Q1 for both body contouring teams. As part of continuous improvement, and based on local government and Allergan/AbbVie COVID protocols, the CTM is expected to spend sufficient field time with the sales team to ensure current training programs are relevant and effective, as well as to identify future training requirements. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT & FACILITATION - SALES TRAINING Plans, develops and implements all training and development programs for all Sales Representatives within both body contouring teams. Conducts an annual Learning Needs Assessment for PSRM and CoolSculpting teams and develops all training tactics in order to meet the changing needs of the marketplace and modern learner as identified in that assessment. Is responsible for executing all areas of product knowledge and sales representative training throughout their learner journey. Where needed, prepares budgets, organizes resources, presents costs, tracks expenditures in support of their training activity. INTERNATIONAL & MARKETING LIAISON Schedules, plans and directs all sales training programs and oversees all agendas to ensure short and long term objectives of the sales and marketing strategies are met through the Sales Team. This includes participating in the 1-7-5 marketing planning process, Brand tactical planning and regular marketing touchpoints throughout the year. In addition, partner with International Business Excellence (IBE) and the local business teams to execute approved programs for CoolSculpting Canada. Working closely with IBE team members to provide Canadian input into their programs, where appropriate. CROSS TEAM PROGRAMS Direct and coordinate annual cross-team programs such as National Business Meeting (Q1), Account Management reviews (Q2), Amplify – Brand Knowledge & ICE (Q3), National Sales Meeting (Q3) and WOKR (Q4) training events each year. Success is measured based on both smoothness in the planning and execution of these events, as well as the YOY CoolSculpting and PSRM team performance at these events. TRAVEL Spends sufficient field time with Sales Team to evaluate impact of current training programs and to gain insight and assess needs to appropriately identify future training requirements. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: Passion for training, coaching and enabling others to succeed Minimum 3 years Sales Experience – preferably in Aesthetics and/or Pharmaceuticals Adult Education certification or equivalent is preferred Strong managerial, organizational and entrepreneurial skills required Positive and proactive with a “can-do” attitude Must be able to work both independently and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite is required Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline and other digital design and authoring tools, is considered an asset Covid vaccination new hires amendments: Full vaccination against COVID-19 is a condition of employment for this position, with possible accommodation for validated exemptions, within the limits of applicable legislation.
