Course Developer (Freelance)

Job Description

The University is seeking experienced individuals to assist with the development of multimedia materials for the project “e-learning portal for learning information technology in education and media and information literacy”. All materials will be presented in both Chinese and English.

The portal includes the following topics:

  1. Advanced Microsoft Office skills for teaching
  2. Useful tools for online teaching

Duties:
The appointees shall mainly be responsible for the following:
  • developing a blueprint of e-learning portal;
  • developing online materials including printed materials, video demonstrations and interactive activities (simulation tasks or interactive discussions); and
  • developing assessment materials including practical exercises, quizzes and case studies.
 
Requirements

Applicants are expected to process the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:

  • a higher degree in IT in Education, education studies or a related discipline;
  • excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese);
  • effective communication skills and the ability to work independently; and
  • preference will be given to those who have teaching experience and/or material design experience at tertiary level.
