The University is seeking experienced individuals to assist with the development of mobile learning materials for the project “Professional Nursing Practice” on a freelance project basis. The project aims to enhance nursing students’ learning of behavioural science, communication and counselling theories and skills, nursing professionalism, and nursing profession issues, hence facilitates students to integrate knowledge into professional patient care.
The contents of the 13-unit professional nursing practice include but are not limited to:
- communication and counseling theories and skills, interpersonal relationship and team;
- behavioral science, psychology and sociology;
- nursing professional attributes;
- nursing professional issues, such as nursing theories and evidence-based practice, etc.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The course developer will mainly be responsible for the following:
- developing a course guide;
- summarizing the essentials of the course materials;
- supplying succinct explanations;
- deliberating on the critical issues; and
- developing activities and assessments to enhance students’ learning experience through the course guide.
Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- possess a higher degree in nursing or a health-related discipline;
- experience in the development of learning materials would be an advantage; and
- proficient in written English and Chinese.
