Job Description & Summary

A career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our people by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives that constantly improve the PwC experience. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.


As part of our Learning and Development Design and Curriculum team, you’ll help lead the design process for all PwC traditional classroom and technology enabled learning solutions. You’ll be working with subject matter specialists, programme directors/managers and project teams to strategise effective ways to educate and train our people on industry related materials.

Job Summary:

  • Be the 'go to' person in Shanghai on Advisory / Consulting matters;
  • Build relationship with key Consulting leaders e.g. Consulting BU leaders, Competency leaders, Consulting HR partner, Consulting L&D partner, Consulting HR leader, L&D champions, etc to determine the training needs of x-Consulting, different BUs and competencies (across different grades);
  • Responsible for designing, developing, planning, monitoring and implementing training courses for Advisory / Consulting;
  • Work with Staff Council, Consulting HR and Resources Management team to support the staff development agenda;
  • Connect with Global / Trifecta team to ensure China/HK know what resources are available and leverage global materials, where possible roll out relevant courses in China/Hong Kong;
  • Implement the L&D strategy for the Advisory team;
  • Promote L&D resources e.g. increasing Vantage penetration and usage and capability e.g. demonstrating expertise and via reporting;
  • Complete annual budget and regularly monitor against budget, formulating learning pathway etc.;
  • Address ad hoc request by the business and L&D.

Requirements

Candidates should possess the following attributes:

Bachelor degree with no less than 4 years of work experience in the areas of training design, training delivery and project management

Work experience in training department of a professional firm is preferred

Demonstrates a creative and innovative mindset

Be technologically up to date and demonstrate an interest in new trends

Open minded, agile with change and practical

Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
