Job Description

The Design/Art Based Creative(TBC) will be responsible to create intriguing digital contents. S/he has to ensure the studio could deliver high-quality on/offline visual contents; acting in an agile way; with sophisticated creative mind to develop designs and visual contents which are enticing to our target consumers. The Design/Art Based Creative(TBC) will play an important role in the team to come up with creative ways in activation campaigns/brand communications.


Key Responsibilities & Job-Related Characteristics:

Create & Design

  • Creative ideas or graphic design development based on requests from internal stakeholders (brand team and functional teams).
  • Major scope of work for this role covers the following by phases:

a) PRC transversal CRM projects (Build content of transversal projects, like QR media, Social gift card, transversal loyalty platform, activation campaigns etc.)

b) Creative adaptation (Localize global assets and resize creative materials according to MR)

c) POSM Design (MOT gift box, packaging design, POSM adaptation, etc.)

d) EC projects (Brand EC store landing design, including Tmall, JD, Westore; Resize creative materials for EC campaign).

e) Video re-editing (Internal performance/campaign review/case video creation; Re-edit brand TVC, adding local offers/end shot, etc.)

f) Photo shooting (Shooting for PR events, activation activity, etc.; Taking photos for products/tribes)


  • Work towards the goal of “Content Excellence”:

o Responsible for hands-on layouts design development for mobile platforms, web interface, social content platforms OR print materials (POSM).

o Capability to answer creative requests with smart ideation and visual assets, yet staying close to the brand tonality.

o Strong knowledge in on/offline media MR, get the know-how on adapting visual assets that fit the media channels.

o Strong sense in local marketing which helps localizing global assets into China specific usage.

o Sensitive and thoughtful about cross-platforms consumer behavior and user journey.

o Knowledgeable about China’s media/digital landscape and marketing developments.

o Be curious about the latest marketing and social trends within or outside the industry.


Collaborate

  • Closely collaborate with all In-house Studio members to deliver creative output.
  • Especially closely working with creative copywriter/content editor to ensure content created is a well blend of its visual and messaging.
  • Strong interpersonal skills within and outside of the team to ensure smooth delivery of projects.


Specific Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Strong sense on art direction and design details.
  • Solid experience in creative concept and layouts development.
  • Working experience in advertising/digital/social agencies, design studio or social platforms.
  • Experience in working with alcohol brands, luxury brands or young consumer brands is a plus.
  • Excellent time management – the role has to develop assets of shorter lifecycle, yet with simpler & fresher look. S/he must be good in managing his/her own working schedule which accords with the studio’s delivery timeline.
  • PRC conviviality culture fit.
  • 1-3 years relevant experience.
