The people on Ground Control are the ultimate hosts and treat the office and employees as its guests. Ground Control’s creative studio is seeking a Creative Lead, Strategy who will be responsible for curating culture and experiences digitally and in-real-life. 

You will work with Ground Control Leadership to evolve and innovate on tactics to curate the future of engagement and employee experience at Airbnb. You’ll scale our approach to experiential company meetings and offsites (virtual and IRL), establishing best practices for how to design and execute them as we define the future of work. You have significant experience designing and producing events and building communities. You’ll develop and oversee our strategy for engaging teams,  and bring your skills to bear in a fast-moving environment involving multiple deadlines, projects, and personalities. You’re proactive and confident in making decisions. You’re an empathetic listen and willing to pitch in and help teammates. You are an innovator. Responsibilities

  • Scale the new chapter of engagement at Airbnb
  • Collaborate on strategy to make compelling and beautiful employee experiences
  • Oversight of all production and implementation of creative and comms production 
  • Creates and oversees process for schedules and project plans based on client briefs, SOWs, and input from key stakeholders and creative leads

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in experiential marketing production
  • Experience with end-to-end event production
  • Proven record of developing creative strategy for brand
  • Experience building communities and culture through experience
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Highly collaborative, organized, and resourceful. A self-starter who proactively sets benchmarks and aligns expectations
  • You’re up to date on pop culture such that you can bring relevant partners and opportunities to the work

The starting base pay for this role is between $155,000 and $195,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
