Creative Manager, The North Face

Key Purpose of the Job:


The position's ultimate goal is to build The North Face to be the #1 Outdoor Brand in China


By leveraging the global assets, this role serves as a perfect bridge to plan and produce always-on creative work for seamless consumer experience enhancement purposes. It is fluid in capturing fast changing and demanding consumer/brand/biz needs in producing continuous flow of good quality & cost-efficient creative output for multiple channels (digital, EC, RBE, DTC, DTP, etc) and other internal and external communication.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

1. Be the central hub of global and regional assets for internal/external sharing and orientation. Establish a bank of brand assets for cross team usage

2. Stay ahead and abreast of consumer culture and trends to initiate and develop quick turn-around creative work for multiple channels to drive consumer excitement, brand/product appreciation and demand

3. Hands-on creative developer: base on the global guideline and creative asset, designing and creating “flow creative” (shorter shelf life, simpler and fresher)-creative work, e.g. POPs, photos, simple videos, etc to enrich consumer experience as well as engagement

4. Own and leverage a rich network of outside creative/content freelancers/partners (art, copy and photography/videography) to support marketing function creative needs (RBE, Digital, BM) and enrich consumer connection on an ongoing basis for the region with focus on China.

5. Manage budget to be spent effectively and ensure all projects are completed on brand, on brief, on time and within budget for optimal results
