In this role, you have the opportunity to

Manage the credit risk within a diversified portfolio of accounts related to sales on credit to customers.

You are responsible for

  • Evaluating customers credit-worthiness, and setting policy of the decisions/judgment regarding credit offers for the customers.

  • Performing timely analysis of new/existing customers' financial status to provide an accurate interpretation of the credit risk.

  • Utilize credit checks system on orders by reviewing contracts.

  • Assign credit limits and risk categories to customers in cooperation with the supported business.

  • Support and develop accounts receivable lean process improvements, and Master data quality.

  • Prepare and Contribute content, reports, and analysis for credit risk committee meetings.

  • Follow up on commercial/sales operations/back office teams to provide support documents for credit limit assessment.

  • Join commercial/sales operations meetings in order to give visibility on customer credit limits and availability for new sales

  • Follow up on external banks in order to get the approval on customers credit approvals, aligned with Philips Capital processes.

  • Full interactions with external banks in order to provide invoices and other documents allowing Philips to receive the payments after issuing invoices.

  • Update/analyze credit limits for customers.

  • Block/unblock customers related to overdue and or credit expirations.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor degree in F&A, Economics, or Business Administration

  • SAP Accounting application experience preferred.

  • Understanding of PCI (payment card industry)

  • Experience in B2B Credit assessment

  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis, Letters of Credit and Guarantees

  • Experience in Financial Accounting & Reporting, Process Improvement, Negotiation and Risk Management.
