Description

• Works under the direct supervision in providing support to Lending Account Managers (Lending AMs) / Team Head
• Is responsible for preparing credit applications, reports and financial analyses for the designated Lending accounts
• Is responsible for the quality (accuracy, timeliness and efficiency) of the designated Lending accounts
• Responsible for preparing credit applications, reports and financial analyses for the designed Corporate Lending accounts; and also for certain Financial Markets and Trade Finance clients / products.
• Responsible for preparing, coordinating, scrutinizing and supervising proper legal documentation proceedings for the designated Corporate Lending clients to ensure full legal and regulatory compliance for transactions booked.
• Co-ordinates the credit process to ensure timely submission of credit applications, reviews / extensions and other requests.
• Provides operational and administrative support to Lending AM(s) / Team Head within the scope of Corporate Lending (including but not limited to revolving credits, term loans, guarantees and also some Financial Markets and Trade Finance products).
• Provides inputs of client and sector information to Lending AM(s) / Team Head.
• Responsible for quality of client data and credit reporting.
• Adheres to all relevant policies.

Profile

• Degree holder in finance, accounting, economics, law or comparable
• At least 3 years of relevant credit experience in reputable banks
• Good knowledge of the Hong Kong and China loan market an added advantage
• Strong financial and analytical skills and has an eye for details
• Is "Hands-on" and possess a positive and "can do" attitude
• A strong team player with good interpersonal skills
• An effective communicator who is fluent in English and Cantonese or Mandarin, both verbally and written
• Proficient in MS Office applications
