Job Description

As Credit Control Chain Specialist, you are responsible for managing a portfolio of Global/Local Chain accounts within APAC. You will be the main point of contact for Global/Local Chain invoice related matters. In addition, you are expected to build strong relationships with the Global/Local Chain partners to ensure all invoices are paid to the terms of the Booking.com contract.

Due to the rapid and continuous growth of the organization, the tasks and duties of this role may evolve over time. You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and to take on additional challenges and responsibilities as they occur. APAC Chain Specialist role is part of Credit Control department. As part of this team you will need to work closely with other departments such as Global Accounts, Finance Operation, Customer Service and Partner Services team based in the Booking.com’s local offices within the APAC region. You report directly to the Area Manager / Team Lead Credit Control APAC.

Support Booking.com BV with collecting open Invoices from Global/Local Chain partners
Proactively seek and implement more effective work processes and scalable solutions
Cross functional communication with internal and external stakeholders to enhance sharing of knowledge, to create a successful roll outs and future improvements within the business
Increase growth of company through effective and efficient collections (Improving cycle times like DSO, cash allocation and delivery of invoices)
Business partnering within and outside the business to tackle issues and to achieve goals
Thanks to these works, the Credit Controller will acquire an in-depth knowledge of Booking’s business and internal organization and will prepare him/her -self to a broader role.

Key factors of success in this role are a good understanding of the business priorities, excellent communication skills, strong networking skills and, above all, the capacity to implement projects and reach the pre-set objectives.

Ensure adherence to Company policies and applicable governmental regulations.
