Responsible for generating and evaluating lending activities for Asset Servicing clients within BNY Mellon and ensure strategy changes for the assigned credit risk discipline are appropriately implemented in a timely manner across Asset Servicing Directs the global identification of existing and emerging risks that are applicable to the assigned credit risk discipline and implements solutions. Ensures the proper documentation is completed when strategy changes are made Leads risk management efforts as first line of defence for the assigned credit risk discipline and customizes solutions for each region using knowledge of best practices and extensive industry experience. Accountable for the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of documentation and reporting completed by more junior professionals. Responsible for working closely with Credit and Risk to ensure each region is adhering to the risk management strategy of the assigned credit discipline or for developing strategies to bring the regions into compliance with highly complex, regional and global regulatory and policy requirements Develops and executes functional strategy to achieve key business objectives. Qualifications Strong background in financing activities from secured financing to capital call facilities Strong communication skills to speak with internal partners and work with clients to highlight BNY Mellon as a partner for lending activities Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 15 plus years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in management preferred. Experience in securities or financial services preferred.
