We are looking for a Credit Risk Officer to:

• Implement Credit Risk Control framework (principles, policies, processes and authorities) for Wealth Management (WM) Asia.
• Identify and control the bank’s credit risks, ensure high quality credit risk assessment and continuous monitoring of the portfolio of counterparties/issues and consider reward in risk decisions.
• Vigorously defend UBS' contractual rights in restructuring/work-out situations. Provide guidance to, and exercise oversight over the business / risk management to ensure the firm's risk appetite, policies and procedures are fully adhered to.
• Take a broad view of the risks and help ensure material issues are escalated to relevant control functions and senior management.
• Support the expansion of the WM product shelf through assessment and approval of New Business Initiatives and Complex Transactions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate policies and manage auditors and regulators' communication in relation to WM Asia Booking center matters.
• Identify and implement organizational, process and system enhancements to improve the effectiveness and health of our function..
