Manager, Account Management Credit Risk for US PayPal Credit Product. This position will lead the team responsible for creating and optimizing the Acquisition Credit Risk strategies jointly with our bank partner.

Responsibilities

  • Partner externally and internally to ensure success (bank partner, vendors, strategy, marketing, finance, product, tech, legal, compliance, etc.)

  • Manage a team of risk analysts

  • Determine data sources for underwriting

  • Leverage new data / processes to improve risk management strategies and customer experience

  • Analyze customer level information to determine the effectiveness of credit policies and recommend necessary changes to improve profitability

  • Work with Global Data Sciences team to deploy best-in-class machine learning risk models

  • Conceive, design, and monitor credit risk management strategies to improve business profitability

  • Manage portfolio performance to risk appetite

  • Communicate concise and actionable business strategy proposals from vast amounts of data to Sr. Management for proposal

Required Skills

  • 5+ years related experience

  • 2+ years supervisory experience

  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Finance, Economics or related quantitative discipline or equivalent experience
