Lawrenceville, GA - Clinical Trials Division/BioServices
How will you make an impact?
You will support the Center of Disease Control CDC Biorepository and associated operations. The Laboratory Technician will handle specimens to prepare them for downstream microbiological assays.
This is a Monday-Friday, 1st Shift role with on-call requirements.

How will you make an impact?
You will support the Center of Disease Control CDC Biorepository and associated operations. The Laboratory Technician will handle specimens to prepare them for downstream microbiological assays.
This is a Monday-Friday, 1st Shift role with on-call requirements.
What will you do?
- Monitor and maintain cryogenic storage equipment and environmental monitoring system.
- Ensure parts are available for repair and maintenance of LN2 storage units.
- Perform routine repairs for LN2 tanks.
How will you get here?
Education
- HS Diploma or GED - required
Experience
- 2+ Years working with cryogenic storage units.
- 5+ years working in a laboratory environment, handling and manipulating biological samples, working with cold storage and laboratory equipment.
- 2 years of experience in material handling. Prefer 1 year experience in biological, chemical, and/or pharmaceutical repository operations.
- Working knowledge of a materials database.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Dry ice handling.
