Job Description
Eaton’s Electrical Crouse-Hinds Commercial Products Division is currently seeking a Janitor – 1st shift (8 am to 4 pm) to join our team. This position is based at our Washington, PA facility. The Janitor is responsible for general cleaning tasks throughout the facility and maintenance of cleaning supplies inventory levels. In this function you will: Perform cleaning and sanitation of the facility including cafeterias, break areas, bathrooms, and hallways, etc.; Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified Properly track the use of all chemical cleaning agents, paints, and supplies that are removed from plant inventory Responsible to accurately communicate utilization of cleaning supplies and request issuance of those consumed items vis the plant established procedure Prepare all cleaning solutions required for the sanitation of the facility Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in break areas, cafeterias, bathrooms, and hallways, etc. Clean, sanitize, and refill inventory for all plant restrooms Maintain recycle bins and trash and periodic deep-cleaning of office areas, break rooms, and other areas as assigned Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future. No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Washington, PA facility. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
