This is a key senior role within our Third Party Supply (3PS) organisation. You will be the primary contact with third parties that AstraZeneca has a supply commitment with and will be accountable for driving outstanding customer service.

The role:

Develop and implement best in industry customer service approaches to customer management, developing and implementing tools, techniques and processes to support future activities.

Ensure an effective communication flow between 3rd parties and the AstraZeneca network ensuring we meet our supply commitments and proactively work to balance demand and supply plans and build supply solutions.

A specialist in contractual detail, alliance management and demand management, aligning, developing and utilising commercial strategies, supply resources and Operations capabilities.

Key accountabilities:

In this role you will:

Take ownership for linking AstraZeneca Operations to our external customers. Partnering with our customers and leading the relationship to ensure both the voice of the customer and that of our Operations function is understood and all critical issues are managed.

Facilitate key supply-related meetings, developing partnership interventions to increase collaboration and trust. Ensure smooth two-way communication of activity, contracts, issues, critical metrics and any escalations.

Ensure that delivery commitments are met and lead key relationships with our Operations Sites and other support teams to meet our commitments.

Support with the external customers launch planning of new products.

Lead any exceptional short-term demand changes between Customers & Supply Sites and represent AstraZeneca Operations around business development, labelling, product security, packaging and supply chain innovation, asset strategy and other improvement initiatives.

Support all relevant scorecard strategies and priorities and drive the demand planning process. You will have full visibility of supply performance and ensure transparency on any issues, challenges and opportunities.

Ensure demand volumes are understood and validated and in-line with our contractual commitments.

Play an active part in re-negotiating our supply agreements and feeding back learning to the pre-deal team for any new agreements.
