Job Description

The role 

Here at Royal Canin we are seeking a full time, passionate, pet obsessed Sales Executive to join our team covering the South Auckland/North Waikato territory over the next 12 months. Reporting to the North Island Field Sales Manager, this role will see you managing existing and potential veterinary accounts.

               

With a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service, customer education and the ability to develop relationships, which will lead to the sale of Royal Canin products and services, this role is pivotal to Royal Canin success in becoming the reference in Health Nutrition in the market.  By partnering with the customers to grow their business and finding the best product for their customer needs, you will drive growth through recommendation of Royal Canin & Eukanuba products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposing mutually beneficial business solutions by aligning business strategies and objectives
  • Addressing and articulating product and business solutions that meet your customers’ needs
  • Translating knowledge of our products to drive recommendation in clinics and stores
  • Providing collateral developed by head office such as; marketing material, articles, business cases, references and customised presentations in line with customers’ needs
  • Presenting persuasive product presentations that create value and achieve mutually beneficial results for all stakeholders
  • Maximising ranging and distribution in clinics and stores to reach growth targets.

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous sales experience within a similar role
  • The ability to build relationships with a varied customer base
  • A hunger and curiosity to learn to become a product expert
  • The desire to educate others to make informed decisions about our products
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build long term relationships
  • The drive and tenacity to achieve targets
  • Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
  • Clinical Veterinary experience preferred
