Job Description
#### Position Description:


Customer Engagement Specialist needed to assist in the planning and execution
of all aspects/details of business-to-business events and briefings produced
by Lenovo’s Data Center Group. Responsibilities also include event marketing,
agency and budget management and customer experience.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure a compelling and distinct DCG brand experience at events through our
booth, briefing center, or virtual implementation (creative, layout) and
onsite experience
• Manage the agency partners and agency scope of work in support of Lenovo at
event
• Follows event timelines, and develops plans and checklists for all assigned
events
• Arranges and manages speakers/presenters and SME participation, and
coordinates calendars to ensure flawless execution
• Manages event and briefing schedules and calendars
• Ability to manage multiple events at once with prescriptive attention to
detail and deadlines
• Develops and maintains event-related web presence
• Coordinates all activities of assigned events such that execution appears
smooth and quality meets or exceeds expectations
• Effectively collaborates with and provides information to multiple internal
and external persons
• Manages within established budget
• Capture and provide proof-of-execution for partner funding programs
• Supports other events associates with on-site/day-of event facilitation
• Develop a working knowledge of Lenovo’s data center products

#### Position Requirements:


• Associates Degree –required / Bachelors degree preferred
• 2-3 years experience in event execution of industry events
• Strong writing, proofreading, Excel and PowerPoint skills required
• Ability to travel when required (approximately 20%).
• During events must have the willingness to work flexible hours, including
evenings and weekend
• Bilingual language skills; English is required (our global business
language)
