Customer HW Engineer is a technical lead in Processor Power Management and Platform Power Delivery domains, responsible to enable OEM/ODM customer Power designs, communicate Power Delivery and Power Management specifications to external customers, supporting customers to optimize Power/Performance/Battery Life, Solving Customers issues, driving SW/FW solutions to customers, Analyze Power workloads score and silicon behaviors.

The job requirements include but are not limited to:
- System-level understanding of silicon/platform power delivery and power management flows at hardware and firmware.
- Work with engineering teams to optimize SoC Power under various usage scenarios.
- Drive power management and power features optimizations/innovations for future products.
- Collaborate worldwide with PnP (Power and Performance) and cross-functional partner teams. Including SOC and IP Design, Architecture, Performance, Power Management, Power Delivery, Marketing, and Planning.
- Drive improvements to IP and SOC PnP methodology
- Deliver power data to customers to enable power delivery design, thermal modeling, and performance optimization.
- Develop and publish collateral contents related to power specification, including documentation and guidance to optimize customers power design.
- Influence on product definition starting from Pathfinding and Technology Readiness.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- MS or BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Experience in system-level and SoC architecture, design, validation, debug, technical support .
- Experience with lab environment and measurement tools.
- Vast integration and coordination skills Working in a multi-Geo multi-cultural environment.
- In-depth level understanding of hardware power management , System integration, Board Design – Advantage
- Demonstrated knowledge of schematic capture and layout tools for use in design reviews of customer platforms.
- Technical understanding of Power workloads, benchmarking, and power/performance recipes - Advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong leadership in driving execution across different functional teams.
- Possess strong teamwork, problem-solving and influencing skills along with abilities to work with different geographical locations.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
