Job Description

Intel's Accelerated Computing and Graphics (AXG) group is on an exciting journey to deliver unprecedented computing power to everyone. As a new business within Intel, this is an opportunity to help influence and shape how the Accelerator and Solutions Customer Engineering team provides enabling, advocacy and support for our OEM and ODM customers as they develop, validate and launch server systems that include Intel GPU products. The Customer Lab Systems Engineering reports into the GPU Asia PAE team and is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Owns managing and maintaining customer systems lab that will be used by various team for validation and certification processes. Placing orders for customer systems and equipment, keeping them updated to latest firmware and running system health checks on a regular basis, along with maintaining the inventory of the systems in the lab. Enabling different remote access mechanisms in the lab for each of the systems along with coordinate the required IT infrastructure needed for it. Keeping track and running the day to day operations of the lab, including managing the user schedule, debugging and resolving issues. Developing new methodologies to help make the lab operations easier by automating firmware updates, health checks and issue management. Enabling and providing training on usage of systems in the lab to various other teams that develop, validate, and deploy products. Other tasks may include documentation of processes and tools, running product experiments and pilots, tracking system usage and database management.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates . Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field OR equivalent experience (2 years), in addition to 2+ years of experience on Information Technology in Labs related field with experience in: Operating Systems both Linux and Windows. Network experience for troubleshooting connection issues. Supporting and/or engineering lab environments. Lab Safety Management IT infrastructure stack and modern technologies. Good verbal and writing skills System bring up, firmware installation and debug Preferred Qualifications: � Server setup, installation and debug � Experience with day to day operations of a datacenter or lab infrastructure along with ordering lab equipment and maintaining systems. � Scripting skills for example: Bash, Python, PowerShell etc. Experience with procuring and managing Capital/BTI budget
