Customer Logistics Manager - Export

Caribbean & Central America

Reporting to the Supply Chain head of the unit, this position’s primary responsibility is ensuring the successful delivery of goods to international distributors in accordance with unit goals, strategies, standards and company policies and procedures. Developing and maintaining a customer centricity approach, working through direct and indirect reports with external and internal business partners. 

 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain & Leadership roles.
  • => 5 years of work-related experience.
  • Advanced English (oral and written),
  • Proficient skills: Office 365, SAP
  • Solid organization and planning skills & Results oriented.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Member of the Supply Chain LT responsible for developing and delivering the business objectives and strategies.
  • Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
  • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
  • Analyze all logistics aspects to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting goods.
  • Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
  • Providing support and collaborate with other functional teams.
  • Respond to enquiries and concerns from internal and external customers.
  • Focus on service levels, team productivity, sales initiatives, supply chain efficiencies, as well as strategic goals.
  • Facilitates, optimizes and leads others to work across geographies and cultures.
  • Manages and proactively leads conflict resolution and is escalation contact for internal and external partners across all levels of leadership.
  • Manage relationships with key Customers, Sales, and Supply Chain leaders through multiple avenues of communication, including on site Customer Visits and presentations.
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Direct comprehensive logistical and reverse logistical function for the Customer Logistics Export team, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.
