Job Description

Job responsibilities & key functions:

1. Greater China Customer Projects Manager (Commercial):

  • Responsible Product Driver for Customer Project Portfolio – Design, Maintain & Develop Solutions Portfolio
  • Business Development of Project Sales
  • Definition of Customer Project Scope in terms of Equipment, Services and Supplies
  • Customer Data Collection to calculate Pricing
  • Present best customer solutions, support to individual Account Managers and even sell/ negotiate individually
  • Contract Design and Negotiation
  • Project & Process Management from Target Customer Definition to Implementation incl all approval processes within Greater China and Global Headquarter
  • Contact Person for all involved departments like Service, Supplies, IT, Finance, Sales
  • Contract Fulfillment & Performance Tracking
  • Contact Person to Global Team for Customer Projects
  • Sales Planning and Forecasting
  • Sales Funnel Management
  • Change Market Situation with new business models – representative at trade shows, internal & external events, etc.

2. Customer Consultancy
  • Responsible Product Driver for Consultancy Product Portfolio targeting Customer Output Optimization
  • Develop consulting approach with standards and elements with necessary internal departments
  • Analyze gathered customer and production data with the aim of identifying bottle necks, production improvements and Customer output. Present findings as a structured business proposal with strong ROI focus
  • Project & Process Management from Target Customer Definition to Implementation incl all approval processes within Greater China and Global Headquarter
  • Contact Person for all involved departments like Service, Supplies, IT, Finance, Sales
  • Contact Person to Global Team for Consultancy Projects
  • Partner Management: identify and contract consultancy partners
  • Train internal organization to fulfill consultancy products
  • Sales Planning and Forecasting
  • Strong cooperation with Product Drivers and Account Managers to develop new Lifecycle Products and sell all Heidelberg Products with consultative approach
  • Change Market Situation with new business models – representative at trade shows, internal & external events, etc.


Requirement for this position:


  • University degree (mix between technical and business, Production Management)
  • ~ 10 years working experience
  • Sales/ Sales Support experience
  • Project & Process management experience
  • Ideal: big investment project sales background (project = equipment and service contract selling in 1 bundle, package)
  • Strong Data Analytical skills
  • Experience in consultancy to customers à presentation & communication skills
  • Team Player who can manage different stakeholders
  • Legal/ Contract Negotiation experience
  • Good English skills
  • Six Sigma, Kaizen, Production Optimization knowledge
  • Willingness to travel
