In this role, you have the opportunity to:

The Philips Healthcare Monitoring Analytics & Therapeutic Care (MATC) business serves the healthcare community through effective and efficient management of capital medical equipment installations and IT solution implementations across the healthcare continuum.

Your role as a Solution Project Manager will be to manage multiple patient monitoring system and/or therapeutic care implementations that vary in scope, size and complexity. Projects can include IT solutions, capital equipment installation and systems integration. You will ensure a stellar customer experiences guided by the statement of work.

You are responsible for :

Coordinating, leading and motivating a diverse cross-functional team of internal and external Sales, Clinical and Technical resources in coordination with the hospital provided project manager or point(s) of contact.

  • Presales project consulting

  • MATC solutions expert

  • Ensure site readiness and adherence to project timeline

  • Responsible for ensuring validation of as-designed document

  • Advises on project plan and responsible for daily updates on project status and activities

  • Responsible for ensuring for submission of as-built document

  • Identifies and communicates project issues/risks and daily up

  • Attends all project meetings and customer go-lives

  • Keeps up to date on current healthcare IT trends and Philips solutions

The Customer Project Manager’s responsibilities includes but not limited to Customer Satisfaction, Inventory Management, Project Cycle Time, and Revenue Recognition.

This role is responsible for effectively communicating with all project stakeholders, and third party vendors. Including but not limited to regular project updates and regular project meetings as outlined in the project plan.

You are a part of:

Reporting to the Implementation Operations, Senior Manager, you will be a member of the Installation team with a variety of both internal and external stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or equivalent is preferred.

  • Project Management Professional certification is preferred.

  • Preferred technical experience/education in Computer Science disciplines or IT Technologies.

  • At least 3 years demonstrated Project Management experience

  • At least 3 years IT integration experience

  • Effectively manages multiple projects concurrently with varying complexities

  • Knowledge and experience in IT Project Management within a Healthcare Environment is preferred (i.e. Healthcare IT, EMR, Patient Monitoring).

  • Working knowledge of networking, interfacing, and systems

  • Influences engagement of project resources/stakeholders

  • Ability to present and negotiate effectively in multiple areas of the customers’ environment (i.e., IT Leadership, Clinical leadership, Biomedical and others)

  • Review construction and technical planning documents

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite, Salesforce.com and other standardized Project Management tools and documentation
