The position is responsible to ensure timely and efficient launch of new product or product enhancement for Bancassurance products and coordinate the gating procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in driving the product ideation process and share the product idea and buy in from stakeholders.

• Assist in driving the sharing and presenting the product ideas with stakeholders (including external partners, if applicable), to get buy in and approval on product to be developed. 

• Ensure timely and efficient launch of new products and product enhancements, within the set timeline by proper preparation and documentation of gate papers, product specification, policy contract, marketing materials, training materials, sales illustration and meeting minutes on approvals. This include ensuring the contract UAT is properly sign-off within the set timeline, conduct briefing to customer support staff/agents and product focus group.

• Coordinate the changes in policy contract and marketing materials relating to new product launch, product enhancements or regulatory requirements, to support in user acceptance testing of Sales Quotation System, etc.

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of report/special project which include but not limited to the monthly post launch analysis for Product Development Committee Meeting, competitor and product comparison analysis and other necessary reports and special projects as and when assigned.

• Ensure compliance of new guidelines issued by Bank Negara Malaysia, LIAM/PIAM or other relevant regulator relating to products.

• Provide sales support and handle enquiries from distribution channels in matters related to products or sales illustration.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Education – Degree in Business Administration, Actuarial or Marketing.

• Experience – Preferably with minimum 5 years relevant working experience.

• Special skills – Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken), proficient in Microsoft Office applications, good presentation skill and interpersonal skill, possess good problem solving and analytical skills.

• Currently working in insurance and banking industry, preferably have working experience in the development of insurance and/or banking products.
