Customer Service Coordinator – Mobile Mining

Siemens Large Drives Applications - Mobile Mining is looking for a dynamic customer facing individual who is passionate about providing world class customer service! In this role you will serve as a vital customer contact for spare parts and field service for the global install base of Siemens AC drive systems for electric rope shovels, draglines and haul trucks. You will partner with the Order Management team and collaborate with all aspects of other Siemens internal teams and departments such as Finance, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, etc. to meet or exceed customer expectations. In this role you will report to the Mobile Mining Customer Service Manager and will be a key part of supporting the Siemens Mobile Mining customer base. Responsibilities Support Customers by navigating them through the Siemens processes and contacts. Provide global customer support via telephone, email and web meetings including after hours as the need arises for international customers Prepare customer price lists in conjunction with Customer Service Manager Coordinate customer RFQ responses including calculations and management approval Provide recommendations to Customer Service Manager for timely resolution of customer issues Help develop and drive continuous improvement with processes and business initiatives in the Customer Service team Research discrepancies with daily customer shipments, supplier material receipts and customer accounts payable issues as they arise Address customer expedite requests including supplier interaction as needed Coordinate customer requests with Engineering, Logistics, Quality and other teams Serve as Mobile Mining Customer Service liaison with the warehouses and factories in North America Collaboration with other Siemens divisions and regional companies as the need arises Coordinate Mobile Mining Field Service scheduling in conjunction with Customer Service Manager Assist Customer Service Manager with preparing periodic business forecasts Serve as backup for Mobile Mining Order Management as required for vacation and overflow coverage Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business 5+ years of customer service experience Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time optimally Excellent communication and presentation skills 5% travel based on customer requested meetings and support Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Mining or Industrial customer service experience SAP experience Microsoft Office At Siemens, our mission is to transform the every day.
