Our client is a French 3PL / freight forwarding company, with 50 years’ experience including 12 years in China. Through a network of 60 offices based in 15 different countries, we provide our clients a full range of services including sea freight, air freight, trucking, customs services, e-commerce logistics, with a focus in Asia, Europe, North Africa and USA.
About the job

The customer service coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day communication with our overseas offices, customers and agents in order to deliver solutions.
The customer service coordinator is a highly motivated and organized team-player with a 3PL background. He/she will conduct the following tasks, including but not limited to:
• Ensure customers satisfaction on a daily basis by proactively answering all inquiries and seeking feedback from customers.
• Coordination and support with all the involved parties including suppliers, clients, our Chinese and overseas teams (with a strong focus on French offices) to ensure efficient service level.
• Assist the sales team by maintaining, growing, and building long-term relationship with new & existing accounts via phone calls, emails, meetings, and job quality follow up.
• Ensure each shipment generates the maximum contribution to the company by keeping constant focus on meeting the required service level at the lowest possible cost.
• Set up SOP and follow implementation for new & existing accounts.
• Obtain, check and prepare documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries' regulations and fiscal regimes;
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations and other factors that could affect the shipment.
• Check & raise invoices as per company objectives and ensure the same is delivered to the correct person within the delivery deadlines agreed.
• Maintain and file all records in accordance with company procedure.
• Additional duties as assigned.


About the candidate

 Bachelor/Master degree, ideally specialized in logistics and/or supply chain management
 Relevant job knowledge and experience (2 years minimum), including ocean & air freight, both import and export
 Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
 Flexibility and problem-solving ability, particularly when working under pressure
 Teamwork, tact and good interpersonal skills
 Methodical, organizational and planning skills
 French speaker, English is a must, Chinese would be a great plus
