Role purpose:
Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative will be part of the Asia Customer Service Team and be responsible for a combination of inside sales and customer support activities. Our customers as well as our products are technical in nature.
Principle responsibilities include:
Receiving, validating and following up on customer inquiries and provide customers and prospects with accurate quotations, terms of sale and all other appropriate information.
Performing contract reviews to match customer drawings and specifications.
Referring complex requests to the necessary parties, such as Product Manager, Production, Finance, Engineering or Sales Supervisor.
Validating and entering orders with each manufacturing facility and tracking of the manufacture through to delivery.
Utilising Materion business systems in the preparation of quotes and dissemination of information pertinent to our business. This includes, but not limited to EXACT, S.A.P, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel, QSI and Lotus Notes.
Provide excellent customer service by answering all customer queries associated with delivery as well as technical questions on products. To expedite orders and manage credit problems and customer complaints.
Working closely with Regional Manager(s) to establish weekly goals.
Participation as part of the Customer Service Team, attending daily MDI meetings as necessary.
Other
To undertake any other relevant duties as requested by management.
Training will be in the Suzhou office, which will be enhanced by travel outside of Suzhou / Shanghai to other Locations to receive further product training as deemed necessary.
