Mars Petcare currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Leader to join the Supply team based in Wodonga, Bathurst or Melbourne office. 

 

As the Customer Service Leader, you will provide exceptional service and support, and work collaboratively with Mars Petcare Account Managers, the wider supply chain team and have a customer facing role with our partner and emerging customers to ensure service excellence. You will manage complex customer issues with the ability to coordinate and guide the customer service team during unexpected events such as derailments and natural disasters to ensure the best solutions and on time delivery to Mars Petcare customers.  

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

 

•    Develop strong relationships with key customer contacts via regular collaboration meetings to ensure alignment and proactive communication on service and supply needs and issues.
•    Proactively communicate with internal supply chain teams and Vendor Replenishment Managers.
•    Provide leadership and guidance to customer service team of three to problem solve issues or delays.
•    Analyse, interpret, and provide data driven insights to internal & external stakeholders whilst also championing the progression of system automation & processes

 

What are we looking for?


•    Sound experience in Customer Care, Sales from a Supply Chain, or similar environment with ability to resolve complex supply issues.
•    Experience coordinating and communicating with external freight or logistics providers. 
•    Proven ability to work well under pressure, whilst leading and supporting others.
•    Strong relationship building skills with a collaborative and forward-thinking mindset.

 

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced and passionate customer service lead to take their next career step to gain exposure in a complex and high-pressure supply chain environment. Your natural leadership skills will allow you to effectively guide and support your team members and lead by example. Experience presenting and interpreting data and analytics is desirable.
