Job Description

Position Summary:

Lead Shanghai branch transportation operation in handling customer order, shipment, information and customer services along with business development, implementation, and operation kick-off to service review to ensure smooth and efficient operations for distribution network.


Key Functions:

  • Strong operation knowledge in transportation experience to manage customer orders, data/information and shipments and familiar with TMS operation.
  • Manage subcontractors on daily logistics operation and distribution system in the aspect of people, process, system, service quality, resources optimization, cost management and related planning.
  • Ensure compliance to SOP and KPI position accountabilities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by achieving 99% of KPI (on time delivery and customer satisfaction).
  • Can work under pressure and know how to handle claims and urgent shipments.
  • Constantly look for improvement opportunities on cost saving and optimize orders and routing.
  • Lead operation team and maintain good communications with all levels, peer groups and with external customers.
  • Work with Solution team, Sales force team to review operational performance, business opportunity, complaint/claims, feedback raised from internal and external customers and identify solutions for continuous improvement and error prevention.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in Logistics Management
  • 7 or more years of experience in 3PL operations
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of transportation operation and account management
  • Computer literate including TMS and ERP
  • Strong business acumen with ability to work in a fast moving and demanding environment
  • Prompt response and capability handling exception
