Siemens Large Drives, LLC has produced Large Electrical Motor Products at our Norwood, Ohio location for over 120 years. In this role you will have the opportunity to join an experienced customer service team in a growing manufacturing operation and lend technical support to our parts proposal team. Position Overview The Customer Service Professional will collaborate with customers over the phone, via our web-based tools, written communications and in person for Siemens Large Drives, LLC. Products Interact directly with customers, sales, field service and factory to answer questions, address problems, provide proposals, and maintain our company’s reputation for high-quality products & services Reports to the Customer Service Manager in Norwood Ohio and will be a vital part of the Customer Service Organization Responsibilities Responsible for knowledge of all Motor Parts, Service & Technical Support Ensure technical support requests and proposals opportunities meet customer expectations Follow up on proposals Lead order management functions from order entry through shipment Provide technical support required drawings, data sheets, curves, etc. Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services in order to provide accurate information to customers Promptly respond to customer questions submitted via phone, email or our website Support field service in troubleshooting of motor problems on customer site remotely and in-person when needed Engage with sales representatives, engineering and operations management to support customer requests Simultaneously lead numerous projects and priorities Achieve critical metric expectations using the SalesForce (IService) & ASSIST tools Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Bachelor Degree and/or 8 years of validated experience in similar role 3 years of proven track record in Parts Proposal role Motivated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive and service-oriented attitude Demonstrates proactive behavior and leadership capability Minimal out of town travel required Proficiency with MS Office, SalesForce, SAP, ASSIST is required At Siemens, our mission is to transform the every day.
