Job Description

Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Customer Success Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Mississauga, ON location.

Provide world-class customer support to both internal and external customers while maintaining complete awareness of all matters affecting a defined region of customers.  Follows all internal policies and procedures to help meet company goals for revenue growth and profitability.

In this function you will:

 

  • Advises customers of availability, price, and terms in line with standard parameters.  Exercises limited authority in pricing to meet competitive pressures.
  • Coordinates with other departments to quote lead times and delivery dates for product which is not in stock.
  • Follows up as necessary with other departments/division (eg. Operations, Purchasing, Shipping & Finance) to ensure delivery dates are met, and proactively communicates delayed shipments to customers. 
  • Advises customers on use and application of standard products and refers more technical inquiries to appropriate personnel. 
  • Order Management: reviewing/tracking backorders with inventory planners, tracking shipments, offering alternative product if requested product is not in stock etc.
  • Communicates directly with customers, agents and outside sales representatives via phone and e-mail to represent the company and obtain orders.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 80 km of Mississauga, ON, will be considered for this position

Preferred qualifications:

  • Preference to bilingual (English/French)
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Experience working in a call centre environment
  • Bachelor’s degree with relevance to the job description
