As a Customer Service and Business Data Technician, you will be responsible for providing support via email to general users and businesses as well as researching, analyzing and validating information using web-based maps and news articles/social media/official websites.

 

On a given day, your work might include:

  • Providing support to general users of maps app
  • Trouble-shooting and if required, escalating issues
  • Dealing with business queries, in accordance with company policies
  • Evaluating data quality through web-based research and phone calls
  • Applying critical thinking to identify high-level trends
  • Identifying root cause(s) of trending issues through web-research
  • Creating analytical reports

 

Candidates must:

  • Be eligible to work in Ireland
  • Have native speaker fluency in the target language and excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
  • Be willing to work onsite and on a full-time basis in Cork, Ireland

 

An ideal Customer Service and Business Data Technician would be:

  • Detail-oriented, analytical and passionate about solving problems
  • Passionate about IT and familiar with iOS and macOS
  • Able to work with large datasets, identifying patterns and trends and draw conclusions to recommend actions
  • Comfortable with placing outbound calls
  • Passionate about IT and familiar with iOS and macOS
  • Comfortable working independently, as well as in small and large cross-functional team

 

It would be great if you have:

  • Experience with spreadsheets
  • Experience with database systems
  • Customer support experience in a technical environment
  • Familiarity with basic GIS concepts
  • Familiarity with web-based map applications
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Experience with social media sites
  • University Degree in Business Analysis or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Specified Purpose Contract with possibility of extension (with 6-months’ probation period)
