  • Job Scope
  • As part of the Shenzhen airport team, this job forms the basis of smooth running of operations and customer services at the airport.
  • The role will include passenger handling, traffic operations and administrative functions.
  • Staff will also be given responsibility for one or several aspects of station operations, such as catering, baggage handling, administrative duties etc.
  • Passenger & Flight Handling
  • Responsible for flight operation duties and leading of service partner staff
  • Supervise activities related to traffic handling including pre-flight planning, check-in, departure and arrival handling, baggage, lost and found, ramp, lounge, delay handling and any passenger enquiries
  • Proactively interact with customers in all areas of customer contact and ensure that passengers are well taken care of and special assistance is provided as required
  • Follow up on post flight actions and administration
  • Leading service partner staff in handling of irregular situations
  • Administration
  • i.Maintain proper records and filing system on flights and daily operations
  • ii.Verification of invoices relating to station operation
  • iii.Carry out investigation relating to discrepancies, lapses and errors
  • iv.Review work procedures and implement solutions to improve service, efficiency and/or cost savings
  • v.Build relationships with key partners for station administration
2. Candidate Requirements
  • Fluent in oral and written English and Chinese
  • Knowledge of office applications e.g. Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Able to interact with customers and have strong communication skills
  • Hard working and a good team player
  • Proactive in seeking solutions to resolve problems
  • Disciplined and respectful of local guidelines and company directives
  • Able to work in a high stress environment
  • Able to work on roster shifts at the airport, being on call for emergencies or when necessary (e.g. flight delay, diversion, crisis)
  • Previous experience in customer-oriented jobs will be beneficial
