Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Conduct effectively all customer related processes, including phone calls, orders, enquiries, quotations, complaints etc. Ensure all of the above are handled quickly, effectively and completely. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage customer enquiries and maintain agreed speed of service to complete tasks. Pro-actively handle incoming business to the agreed SLAs Perform all aspects of order handling (new order processing, amendments, Improvements, general queries) Support sales team quotations in a timely manner. Ensure orders are progressed with manufacturing. Advise customers in advance of any delays. Co-ordinate with logistics freight forwarder in the booking, collection and delivery of customer orders. Plan, co-ordinate and prepare necessary documentation to ensure goods are dispatched in line with customers’ requirements Assist with preparation of reports and Management Information as requested Manage customer complaints effectively and efficiently to resolution. Feedback actions to customer. Adhere to relevant procedures, work instructions and policies Undertake ad hoc tasks as required to aid CSD team and other departments. Actively contribute in meeting departmental goals and objectives. Pro-actively follow up customer enquiries Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Excellent communication skills, spoken and written Proven experience in a customer service / customer care / Sales role – min 2 years Computer Literacy – Microsoft Office (word/ Excel/ Power Point) Ability to work independently as well as interdependently Knowledge and experience of using MRP systems within a Manufacturing organization We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
