Job Description
This is a Sales Support role focused on the timely and accurate execution of various tasks related to the Quoting and Order processing of LDA’s Drives Spare Parts business. This position will interact with Siemens Engineering, Tech Support, Purchasing, Shipping as well as Siemens Sales, Siemens Affiliates and End User Customers. Role Overview: Build customer satisfaction through timely and accurate delivery of our Quotes and Orders. Manage results working with other internal Teams to meet our commitments Communication with Customers and Sales and appropriately setting expectations Resolve problems Share and seek knowledge to better serve our customers Drive process improvements Tactical actions/tools: Using Salesforce and SAP, manage RFQ requests and prepare Pricing/Quotes, manage the Quote process within Salesforce, using excel templates to create the Quote from data procured from SAP and send to the Requestor. Follow up and /or address inquiries on the Quote as needed. Track Opportunity Wins in Salesforce. Using SAP, enter Orders based on customer PO specifications and ensure accurate and timely invoicing. Review open Quotes and Orders and taking appropriate actions to ensure on-time delivery. Timely respond to customer inquiries regarding Quotes or Orders in the team shared mailbox, escalating issues as needed. Candidates should possess: 1-3 years in a customer or sales support role The ability to work independently and within a team Strong work ethic and ‘ownership’ mentality to drive customer satisfaction Strong proficiency in digital literacy, with emphasis on Excel Excellent interpersonal and time leadership skills Professional and clear communications skills Desire to drive process improvements, solve problems Additional skills/attributes: Experience with SAP Experience with Salesforce Order and/or parts management experience LDA product and business knowledge/experience Here is what is in the GRIP as a job description Attends and supports sales projects.
