Presents standard Global Technical Training (GTT) courses using prepared materials; conducts limited training at customer sites which involves both travel of short duration; manages classroom/lab activities to assure fulfillment of course objectives; presents and practices safety per procedure; may train during off-shift and/or weekends as assigned.
Learns and maintains a level of product technical knowledge sufficient to prepare and present selected segments of defined product courses of limited technical content; completes certification on all product related courses to include safety modules.
With guidance, prepares technical training materials to include new course development for product improvement and enhancement. With guidance, may revises existing course materials and augments docmentation to fill gaps in released materials.
With guidance , may performs maintenance and repairs on training systems; helps to ensures system functionality can support course objectives. .
Acquires and employs knowledge and understanding of the Global Technical Training organization and operations. May assist in the marketing of additional GTT courses/products available; solicits on-site training.
Learns and utilizes effective interface skills in dealing with customers and employees; identifies and seeks resolution to customer satisfaction issues in the classroom or lab.
Will inn with product groups to obtain current product information for course updates. With assistance may represent GTT at routine divisional meetings and internal conferences; functions as lead on projects of limited scope and complexity.
Supports GPS in the generation of docs. Ensures field usage
Develop technical materials
Observe technical activities to determine operating procedure and detail.
Interview personnel to become familiar with products & methods
Study tech docs to integrate a technology, operating procedure, production sequence and detail.
Review published materials and recommends revisions
Communicates with BUs to obtain current product information for courses updates
