Job Description
Eaton’s Energy Automation Solutions (EAS) Division has an opening for a Customer Training Engineer position. This position can be remote. Position Overview The Customer Training Engineer is an integral part of the customer service team. This position will be key in providing unsurpassed customer services. The Customer Training Engineer together with the customer service team provides support for our customers through technical support by email, phone, web conference or onsite. The Customer Training Engineer should be able to multitask, enjoy speaking to customers on the phone, have exceptional communication skills, be proficient in problem solving and enjoy being on the front line with customers. Essential Functions Provide web-based and onsite training on CYME products and solutions (travel up to 25% of the time) Provide technical support on CYME software products Guide customers through the functions, features and benefits of the CYME products and solutions. Analyze customer needs through technical support, discussion with customers, etc. to identify and suggest improvements for CYME products and solutions. Provide excellent customer service by seeking to understand each customer’s issue. Collaborate with peers and cross functionally to resolve complex problems. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. Customer facing experience and commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction. Fluent in French and English (written and spoken). Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Power systems speciality, IGEE (Institut en génie de l’énergie électrique). Python programming skills. Database experience: MS Access, MS SQL and Oracle. Great analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly learn software-based products. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin (Written and Spoken).
