Job Description:

• Coordinate with customs broker and forwarder and related parties for smooth importation and exportation for our Shanghai office in FTZ

• Work with and maintain good relationship with customs, CIQ and other relevant authorities in Shanghai;

• Ensure Customs compliances with relevant policies/regulations, procedures, and practices in Shanghai FTZ;

• Master knowledge of state’s Tariff Classification, Valuation and local regulations and industry practices;

• Ensure database integrity related to tariff classification, country of origin, and value information declared to Customs authorities;

• Monitor the materials & chemical in & out of our Shanghai office in FTZ;

• Initiate, prepare for customs audit and provide required documentation by customs;

• Manage Customs Brokerage processes, drive continuous process improvement and lead-time reduction, establish and monitor service provider performance against clearly defined KPIs;

• Take other responsibilities in customs area assigned by the management.

• Achieve cost saving target and check all the delivery cost by complying with company policy;

• Ensures that all documentation is properly retained per customs requirements.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years work experience in importation/exportation or in related functional areas. The work experience at multi-national company will be the plus;

• Understanding on importation and exportation declaration process;

• Understanding on customs laws/regulations;

• Strong sense of the compliance importance & implementation during daily work;

• Good sense of responsibility. Cautious. Good communication skills, good team work spirit;

• Be willing to take challenges and work under stress;

• English skills are necessary (oral/writing/listening).
