We are currently seeking Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our Architecture, Governance & Security Center of Excellence (AGSCoE) team. No relocation is being offered for this position. The candidate will be based at any Eaton facility in the US. If the candidate resides within 50 miles of Beachwood, Ohio, the candidate must work at that site. This position will be responsible for detecting and reducing vulnerability risks in Eaton environment. This role will use multiple including endpoint vulnerability scanning tools, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and data lake technologies. In this role, you will: Provide subject matter expertise related to vulnerability management to leadership and application teams throughout the organization. Work with application teams across functions to find remediate vulnerabilities within Eaton’s enterprise environment. Tune and configure enterprise security technologies and platforms to meet customer and operational requirements Provides reports and data analysis for vulnerabilities to different audiences across the enterprise. Coordinates and regularly updates enterprise security technology, platform, and documentation to ensure operational health and security. Monitor enterprise security technology and platform to ensure required performance, availability, and capacity. Identify gaps in monitoring and potential impact on service delivery. Continuously seek to manage and utilize enterprise security technology and platforms more efficiently Follow industry, organization, and ITIL best practices to maximize quality and efficiency When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: High school diploma required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology is required. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Preferred Qualifications: Enterprise vulnerability tool experience (scanning, reporting, remediation) Familiarity with enterprise security processes OS patch vulnerability evaluation experience Knowledge of web application vulnerability evaluation experience Endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems Experience with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) systems a plus Scripting / programming language experience (Python, Java, Perl) a plus Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Technical knowledge: Windows and Linux operating systems Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools Working knowledge of network operations Working knowledge of security software including endpoint detection and local firewalls Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
