We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity specialist to join our team to ensure the security and integrity of our medical devices. The ideal candidate will have experience in the medical device industry and knowledge of FDA or EMA regulations and guidelines related to cybersecurity. The primary focus of this role will be to communicate with the external stakeholders about our cybersecurity practices and to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities: Work closely with our engineering and regulatory teams to understand the cybersecurity requirements for our medical devices and ensure compliance with FDA regulations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration related to cybersecurity practices. Prepare and submit cybersecurity documentation, including cybersecurity risk assessments, mitigation plans, and cybersecurity incident reports. Monitor and evaluate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities to our medical devices and implement necessary updates and security measures. Conduct regular security assessments of our medical devices to identify any potential security weaknesses and ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations. Provide cybersecurity training and education to employees to raise awareness of cybersecurity risks and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. For junior position basic understanding in the field and eagerness to learn. For medior or senior positions minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic devices industry with a focus on cybersecurity. For senior positions: In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations and guidelines related to cybersecurity in medical devices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and technical teams. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO, and IEC. For senior positions: Relevant certifications in cybersecurity such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
