Job Overview
Assembly of cylinder heads according to specifications while meeting all expectations of safety, quality, and production standards.
Responsibilities
• Primary job will be Cylinder Head Assembly.
• Cross train in Core Repair learning to run CNC machines.
• Perform salvage and reclaim processes to core components.
• Setup, Run and read CNC programming machining centers using set up sheets.
• Help keep LWI/SOP/SWI's up to date and follow these instructions.
• Correctly identify product, part numbers and quantities.
• Inspect, read and understand gauging equipment.
• Maintain quality requirements.
• Maintain TPM of machines.
• Maintain FPY information on machine and product.
• Fill out daily production information and keep TOS boards up to date.
• Perform daily housekeeping responsibilities, 5S Audit and daily checklist.
• Continuous improvement/Process improvement (give suggestions).
• Use daily discomfort log and report sickness/injury (no matter how slight).
• Support all TOS efforts.
• Must work in a safe manner and report all near misses or accident immediately.
• High level of attention to detail absolutely critical.
• Must be proficient with gauging and math skills.
• Must be able to read "blue prints" and "r-specs" and be able to put to practical use.
• Must be able to follow "Control Plans", LWI's, SOP's, and SWI's.
• Ability to read and understand gages related to machining.
• Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve as necessary.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. repetitively.
• Ability to collaborate with the team and work independently.
• Ability to organize work in an efficient manner.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to use small hand tools.
• Willingness and ability to cross-train throughout the area.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior experience operating CNC equipment a plus.
• Troubleshooting/problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge and understanding of machine tooling a plus.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
