We are building a "Better World for Pets". The behaviour change with more pet owners buying online is intensifying the need of a more targeted and direct acquisition, conversion and retention of pet owners and has created a need for a new route to market - Direct to Consumers (D2C). Long-term D2C is building an additional leg supporting the recommendation model and creating a value proposition for the pet owner. The D2C lead role is to implement this new business model and position the business to scale up rapidly to take advantage of our first mover position. The role will have two direct reports.
What are we looking for:
• Significant Sales & Marketing experience with significant exposure to project management, especially in the digital and e-commerce world.
• A Bachelor or Master degree in business or equivalent e-commerce studies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written) to a variety of audiences;
• Strong functional expertise in Digital marketing and E-commerce
• Solid project management skills
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Strong competency required in Stakeholder management and liaison
• Fluency in English written and spoken
What would be your key responsibilities:
As the D2C lead you are responsible for bringing our new D2C value proposition to life in the Benelux. Leading a team with 2 direct reports you are responsible for deployment and roll out of different D2C business models in Benelux, both business driven (eg. MyVetReco) and Pet Owner driven (Flagship Store) in close cooperation with Global D2C teams.
Scale the different D2C business models, driving improvements and efficiency over time, supported by the D2C manager. Working closely with the whole Brand and Pet Owner team to capitalize and drive a pet owner ecosystem from awareness to purchase and after care.
D2C Value propositions
• Define local implementation of the global Distinct D2C value propositions and lead platform implementation (eg. Flagship Store)
• Define local implementation of Global Pillar Based D2C Value Propositions and lead platform implementation (eg. MyVetReco)
• Pilot and drive improvements on various functionalities driving short term and long term value.
• Localize price & promo strategy in consultation with key internal stakeholders in the S&OP+ process
Digital Services
• Define and lead deployment of global digital Services in close cooperation with Global Digital Factory and the Digital Services Specialist.
Acquisition
• Together with the Brand Experience Team define, implement & optimise the D2C media strategy, including SEO
• Collaborate with the pillar teams to understand pain points and improve overall pillar driven acquisition model
• Pilot, monitor and optimize new route to market performance
Finance and Reporting
• Collaborate with Finance and Leadership team to develop P&L and local KPIs
• Actively taking part in SOP+ process
Team:
• Lead, engage and develop the D2C team to maximize their performances and development
