We offer the Global Siemens Manufacturing Plants with all the Technical Support required to the Factory personnel. As part of this team and this role you are expected to cater your Database (Relational & Non-Relational) expertise for all the Global Siemens SI Manufacturing Plants. You will have the opportunity to work with the team building and Indigenous Industrial IoT product and support them with your Database Skills. You will also understand the processes and systems of an Electrical products Manufacturing setup. Duties Should be able to Maintain and Perform all Administrative Tasks for all the Databases Keeping the DB Running, Checking the DB Size, Security Connections, Optimizing Query Performances, Keeping a check on DB Performance and Availability Optimizing the Queries for Performance Should be able to work with Cloud Managed Database Services Setting up, Configuring & Maintaining Databases as per requirements Planning and Designing Database Architectures Advice the Development team on NoSQL Databases and the best practices Strongly integrated in an international team which is distributed across the globe Requirements 3+ Years of Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL & MS-SQL) Proven experience in log shipping/ secondary databases, practical knowledge about running databases in MS Azure Cloud PaaS/IaaS would be considered an advantage Maintaining, Cost Optimization and Query Optimization of Cloud Managed Database Services (AWS & Azure) Should have a Good Experience with Non-SQL Databases too Ability to work in agile working mode, getting from basic idea over structured concept to stepwise realization University degree in IT technology or equivalent experience Excellent English communication and presentation skills, German is highly appreciated.
