• Perform DFM for the new product and identify potential risks or problems in product design, specifications, materials and processes.
• Drive suppliers on-site process control and develop quality programs to ensure high quality performance is consistently delivered.
• Utilizing DOE and statistical tool to resolve complex manufacturing process, quality, and reliability issues.
• Set up incoming material inspection, testing and sampling plan to ensure robust incoming quality control at supplier side.
• Establish OQC inspection and testing process with guard band and tester correlation to ensure out-going parts quality.
• Manage ongoing reliability test plan and ensure vendor execution and take actions to ORT failure and lead risk assessment.
• Regular process audits to ensure vendor comply with POR process parameters and achieve expected results.
• Review progress of development activities at supplier locations and serve as point of escalation for critical process related issues.
• Assess supplier readiness to support NPI builds and mass production, Identify potential risky and block items and provide recommendations to mitigate risk.
• Work with supplier on process optimization for yield continuous improvement to meet the FPY target.
• Drive supplier or sub-tier suppliers for quality review to find out root causes & solutions for the issue happened at supplier production line, CM IQC, FATP and field returns.
• Participate to audit new Fan supplier or existing suppliers, and co-work with related FB SQE to qualify the process and assembly line.
• Support other stuffs if necessary.
