Currently we are hiring talents for a Operation Manager role based in Lingang, Pudong District.

The role of DC Operations Manager is to supervise the daily operations of the Distribution Centre (DC), administration and associated distribution activities so that people and equipment are employed efficiently and the warehousing, declaration and distribution activities are performed safely, accurately and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements. 

As Operation Manager, you will:

• Plan and coordinate activities day-to-day/month-to-month to achieve results and standards expected
• Take initiative to identify growth opportunities and innovative new ways of doing business
• Set and manage standards and performance expectations for front line or work group leadership to ensure the highest standards of excellence in customer service, reliability and efficiency, and sustainability in safety and environmental performance.
• Manage the warehouse and distribution operation within agreed contractual parameters to deliver quality best in class service.
• Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with customers to review distribution productivity levels and enable ongoing improvement of systems and procedures.
• Prepare and update job descriptions as required and ensure all direct reports act in accordance with their specified job description.

To be successful in this role, you need:

• 10 years warehousing & distribution core process and best practices from receiving to put away to picking to dispatch to inventory control and value added services;
• Knowledge of bonded warehouse regulations and customs declaration processes/regulations
• Understanding of basic financial (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) and budgeting  concepts;
• Good leadership skills, underpinned by a genuine interest in people;
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
