Job Description

o   Develop the detailed technical solutions typically associated with the  existing / obsolete and upgrading Distributed Control Systems (DCS)

o   Support the transition from concept / FEED to execution.

o   Implement engineering solutions typically required to solving obsolescence, disaster recovery, cyber security and technology road maps aligned with production development plans

o   Provide input to project execution planning

o   Undertake site surveys, confirm accuracy of existing documentation

o   Attend production/maintenance/project meetings such as the kick - off, progress meetings, technical clarifications, queries, close out and lesson learned sessions

o   Typically act, under guidance, as the interface between the project and production organization at a technical level

o   Coordinate, expedite and undertake the review of Vendor documentation in accordance with project procedures

o   Produce Test Procedures

o   Produce Detail Design Specifications

o   Produce DCS configuration

o   Produce HMI configuration

o   Analysis/maintain/optimize the current DSC system, provide technical solution and implement the technical solution plan.

o   Coach/train the related technician on the controlling system.
