Position Overview Siemens Process Automation has an exciting opportunity for a Distributed Control System (DCS) Product Manager who will hold key technical DCS responsibilities. This position will execute the rollout of the latest DCS, the all-new web based SIMATIC PCS neo, as well as the process simulation software, SIMIT. The desired resource would be a dynamic, high-energy individual, with the desire to develop deeper knowledge in control systems and software. This position will have a balance of technical and commercial tasks with interaction between internal and external stakeholders, leveraging global contacts and best practices. This position is primed for growth within the organization, handling strategic and innovative products. The role will report into the team responsible for Product Management and Product Marketing. Responsibilities Execute and manage the SIMATIC PCS neo (DCS) roll-out, including opportunity handling Responsible for internally communicating latest DCS & Simulation features/product benefits (Roadmap) Ensure product demonstration readiness within the organization Participate in event/trade show execution highlighting the Siemens innovative DCS Portfolio Gather and feedback product requirements and market information Maintain awareness of competitor plans, trends, and technologies Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering (or similar field) or equivalent experience or knowledge Has the ability to effectively present and demonstrate to a native English-speaking audience. 10% travel estimated for this position. Prior DCS, PLC, Control Systems or Automation of 1+ years preferred, will consider directly out of college with relevant degree.
