Please visit https: https://www.siemens.com/plm and https://www.siemens.com/eda About the Role As a DFT Application Engineer you will contribute to the sales of the Siemens EDA DFT products (Tessent), which will involve in building strong technical relationships with customers, helping them adopt and deploy the Tessent product line. You will be working closely with Account Managers selling the products. The role requires presenting, explaining and discussing deep technical aspects of our products to senior technical managers and engineers in our customer base. The key technical activities will be product presentations, supporting customer evaluations, assisting with the adoption of advanced features of the products and design methodology support. Area of Responsibility Providing technical assistance to Account Managers in the process of selling DFT products Contributing to finding new business opportunities for the DFT products Presenting our Tessent products and their technical value to our customers Engaging with our customers to uncover their DFT needs and finding solutions for them Develop advanced DFT knowledge and skills to grow technical credibility with our customers Working with European IC customers to make them successful with using our Tessent products Develop strong articulation and presentation skills to communicate ideas to customers as well as internally Your Qualifications & Experience Sound knowledge of the semi-conductor industry Technical experience on the design of ICs is required, DFT experience would be an advantage Strong team player with ability to work in a multi-national team Ability to take ownership and solving customer issues Good level of communication in English, oral and written Short but relatively frequent travel is required Minimum B.Sc. or equivalent degree Working at Siemens Software Why us?
