As buyer for Body-in-White, you will be the central contact person regarding all commercial and sourcing process related issues within the MP China Hub. Your responsibility as interface between Germany Procurement organization and China Joint Venture is to ensure the balance between global businesss case optimization and localization interests. You will carry out short visits to potential suppliers, join negotiations and develop and align sourcing strategies together with the headquater organization and Chinese joint venture. A close collaboration with the procurement organization in Germany, cost planning function, quality engineers, development department and the Joint Venture is part of your daily work. You are resonsbile for prescreening and promoting potential local supplier into global supply through a joint collebration with above related stakeholders.
