Task Description
1. IT Operative Planning and Year End Actual Cost Reporting
• Together with BU, prepare / review / finalize the budget planning in each planning cycle including FC04/ FC09/ DBP. Ensure the budget & HC is planned based on true and fair assessment & estimation. Ensure certain level of planning accuracy.
• Support BU to get funding source confirmation from service receiving companies (i.e. DAG, etc.)
• Support supervisor prepare relevants report / budget walk to management team (controlling, IT, HQ) regarding the result of each planning cycle, from different perspective and scopes (i.e. DGRC only, GRC all legal entity, MBC, MPC, etc.).
2. Planning implementation and budget control as controlling key accounts of responsible cost centers
• According to the budget, control the actual spending, by assessing reasonableness of PR requirements, approving PR, monitoring PR pipeline and GR status and to ensure budget implementation on schedule as well as under control.
• Monthly review actual spending vs planning diviation and check reasonableness of the variances. Pushing BU for timely confirmation of service/goods delivery.
• Monitor PR/PO pipeline.
• Support year-end review of full year costs vs annual planning diviation analysis.
• Support supervisor prepare relevants actual costs report to management team (controlling, IT, HQ) from different perspective and scopes (i.e. DGRC only, GRC all legal entity, MBC, MPC, etc.).
• Relevant contract review.

3. IT cost efficiency review & assessment
• Working together with IT project managers to performec IT run cost – local cost deep dive and identify areas for saving potentials. Implement saving plans
• Working with Daimler affiliate companies regarding internal SLA charges and find solutions to further optimize pricing and total costs
• Actively involve in annual IT PSI process, assess the financial benefits coming from the proposed IT projects and support management in IT project prioritization
4. IT Financial Management and Reporting
• Coordinate implementation of effective IT financial management process for ITS/C & ITT/MC Greater China region, in close alignment with legal entities / cost centers
• Providing consultation & support to ITS/C & ITT/MC units / cost centers on IT financial governance, corporate requirements to improve transparency (to HQ / to service receiving companies)
• Support IT project managers on business case calculation

5. Co-ordination & Communication
• Management reporting and provide process training on the financial management
• Build-up and strengthen relationship with all stakeholders in daily work to effectively perform the necessary tasks within the function
• As DGRC controlling KA and SOC, facing specific service receiving entities and answer relevant queries regarding DGRC cross-charges.

6. Process , analysis & reporting automation
• Support supervisor continuously improve internal & external process to realize higher level of automation in daily work
• Support research and implement automation tool in order to provide more transparency to management as well as service receiving companies (i.e. project detail costs; personnel cost allocation to projects, etc.)
